How the Twin Ticket Works
The Twin Ticket gives one entry to Loro Parque and one to Siam Park. You have 15 days from your first visit to use the second entry. At the first park you visit, staff fit a wristband that links the ticket to you. When you arrive at the second park, show both the QR code and wristband to enter.
The ticket covers general park admission only. Fast Pass, lockers, towels, food and transport cost extra at both parks. You cannot exit and re-enter on the same day at Siam Park. Loro Parque and Siam Park both open 365 days a year.
Siam Park opens 10:00-18:00 daily from 1 May to 29 October (summer hours). Winter hours (30 October to 30 April) are 10:00-17:00. Loro Parque opens 09:30-17:30 every day of the year. Plan around 8 hours for Loro Parque and a full day for Siam Park.

Siam Park is in Costa Adeje on the south coast. Loro Parque sits in Puerto de la Cruz in the north. The drive between them takes about 1 hour via the TF-1 and TF-5 motorways. Most visitors stay in the south near Costa Adeje, Los Cristianos or Playa de las Américas. This makes Siam Park the closer option.
Both parks run bookable bus services from the opposite side of the island. Siam Park operates a round-trip bus from Puerto de la Cruz hotels daily. Routes from the south run on fixed days (Los Gigantes area Thursday and Sunday). Book the official bus before 17:00 Canary time the day before your visit. Return buses depart at 17:00 in winter and 17:30 in summer.
Loro Parque has a bookable bus from the south and Los Gigantes. It also runs a free express train from Plaza de los Reyes Católicos in Puerto de la Cruz. The train runs every 20 minutes from 09:30 to 16:30 (last train to the park). Return trains run until 17:30. If you drive, Loro Parque has a customer car park on site. Siam Park charges for parking and has limited places.
Some excursions from Costa Adeje and excursions from Puerto de la Cruz include transfer packages with park tickets. These suit visitors who prefer organised transport.

- Covers two full-day attractions with one purchase
- 15-day validity lets you visit on different days
- Both parks run bookable buses from the opposite side of the island
- Standard tickets valid indefinitely if unused
- Free train from Puerto de la Cruz to Loro Parque every 20 minutes
- Parks about 1 hour apart, requiring transport planning
- No refunds on any ticket type at either park
- If weather closes Siam Park your ticket is not refunded
- Twin Ticket excludes Fast Pass, transport, lockers and towels
- Requires two full days to use both entries
Twin Ticket vs Separate Tickets vs Tickets with Transfer
| Option | What You Get | Who It Suits |
|---|---|---|
| Twin Ticket | One visit to each park, 15-day validity, wristband system | Week-long stays, hiring a car or using buses, both parks planned |
| Separate Tickets | Single-park entry, valid indefinitely if unused, no refunds | Shorter stays (3-4 days), only time for one park, young children |
| Tickets with Transfer | Park entry plus round-trip coach, fixed departure times | No hire car, prefer door-to-door service with fixed schedule |
The Twin Ticket makes sense if you have at least one week in Tenerife. It suits visitors who plan to see both parks. Buying Siam Park tickets and Loro Parque tickets separately costs more in total. Separate tickets give flexibility if you only have time for one park.
Tickets with transfer suit visitors without a car. Check whether the coach departs from your specific hotel or a central pickup point. The official park buses cover main resort areas. Third-party transfers often include more pickup locations but at a higher cost.

Check availability →Who the Twin Ticket Suits
The Twin Ticket works for families and groups staying a week or longer. You want two full-day theme park experiences. You need two separate days because each park requires 6-8 hours to see properly. The 15-day validity gives flexibility to space out visits based on weather and energy levels.
It suits visitors hiring a car or comfortable using the official park buses. Families based in the south can visit Siam Park on foot or a short taxi ride. Then book the Siam Park bus or drive north for Loro Parque later in the week. Visitors staying in Puerto de la Cruz reverse the order. Use the free train to Loro Parque and the official bus or car to reach Siam Park.
The Twin Ticket is less useful for short stays (3-4 days). You only have time for one park. It also suits less well if you are travelling with very young children. They might not manage two full theme park days. In those cases, separate tickets let you choose one park without committing to both.

What Each Park Offers
Siam Park is a water park with adrenaline slides, family rides and a wave pool. The wave pool covers 13,500 m² with waves up to 3 metres. Headline attractions include Tower of Power (28-metre freefall at speeds up to 80 km/h through an aquarium). Also Kinnaree (200-metre slide), Saifa, Mekong Rapids, The Dragon, The Vulcano and Singha. Family rides include Naga Racer, The Wave Palace, Jungle Snake and The Lost City kids play area. Mai Thai River is a 1 km lazy river with slow and fast sections.
Admission includes sun loungers, tubes, life jackets and umbrellas (limited availability). Also changing rooms, showers and free WiFi. Lockers and towels cost extra. Fast Pass Unlimited (priority access to most rides) and All Inclusive can be added. All Inclusive includes unlimited Fast Pass, food, drink, towel and locker for an extra fee.
Loro Parque is a zoo and marine park in Puerto de la Cruz. It has educational presentations of sea lions, parrots, dolphins and orcas. Each lasts about 20 minutes and runs several times daily. Immersive areas include Planet Penguin (real snow and an iceberg). Also Katandra Treetops (Australian birds on suspension bridges), Oceania (parakeets) and La Gruta (bats). The shark tunnel aquarium and AquaViva (jellyfish) complete the immersive areas. The park recommends around 8 hours to see everything.
Both parks open every day of the year. Loro Parque keeps the same hours year-round (09:30-17:30). Siam Park adjusts seasonally: 10:00-18:00 in summer, 10:00-17:00 in winter. Similar to Teide National Park and whale watching in Tenerife, both parks are attractions. They require full-day commitments.
Sample Two-Day Plan
A practical two-day plan spaces the parks 2-3 days apart. This avoids back-to-back exhaustion, especially with children. Here is a sample itinerary for visitors staying in the south:
- Day 1 (Siam Park): Arrive at 10:00 opening time to claim sun loungers near The Wave Palace or Mai Thai River. Start with adrenaline slides (Tower of Power, Kinnaree, Saifa) in the first hour before queues build. Take breaks at Coco Beach or the lazy river. Catch a wave session at The Wave Palace mid-afternoon. Stay until closing (17:00 or 18:00 depending on season).
- Day 3 (Loro Parque): Drive north or book the official Loro Parque bus the day before. Arrive at 09:30 opening. Head straight to the orca or dolphin show (check daily timetable online). Visit Planet Penguin and Katandra Treetops before lunch. See the parrot and sea lion presentations in the afternoon. Walk through the aquarium tunnel and AquaViva. Leave by 17:30 closing to drive back south before dark.
For visitors based in Puerto de la Cruz, reverse the order. Take the free train to Loro Parque first. Then book the Siam Park bus or drive south 2-3 days later. Allow extra time for the return journey from Siam Park. The TF-1 motorway can be slow in the late afternoon.
Build in a rest day between parks, especially with young children. Consider a lighter activity like a Los Gigantes boat trip or visiting Masca Gorge on the day between parks.

Check availability →When Separate Tickets Make More Sense
Buy separate tickets if you only have 3-4 days in Tenerife. You can fit one full-day park visit. Families with children under 5 often find one water park or zoo enough. If you stay in the far south (Costa Adeje, Los Cristianos), consider a single park. A Siam Park ticket gives a full day close to your base. No drive north required.
Separate tickets also suit visitors combining Tenerife parks with other islands. A La Gomera day trip or Mount Teide excursion may leave only one spare day. In that case, buy a single ticket for whichever park interests you most.
Weather is another factor. Siam Park is outdoors and less enjoyable in cool or windy conditions (common in winter). If you visit in November to February and weather looks marginal, a single Loro Parque ticket helps. It avoids committing to a water park day. Standard tickets at both parks are valid indefinitely if unused. A separate ticket can be saved for a future visit. The Twin Ticket has no refund and must be used within 15 days.
If you want Fast Pass or VIP extras at Siam Park, buying a separate ticket may suit better. Check Siam Park VIP or All Inclusive options. This depends on group size and queue tolerance. Check current VIP Cabana, Casa and Villa options for small groups.
The Twin Ticket suits week-long stays where you want two full-day theme park experiences and have transport sorted. Separate tickets work better for short trips, uncertain weather or if you only have time for one park.
